WINTERWARMER (3) (1)Maybe it’s just the mere mention of warming up the winter from Randall’s Fairview Heights that we’re blessed with 70° temperatures this weekend. Whatever the reason, I’m not complaining.

This Friday, February 19th, from 7pm-10pm Randall’s FVH will be throwing their Winter Warmer Festival with all of the proceeds benefiting Stray Rescue St. Louis. Tickets are $10 each (with purchase of wish list item) or $20 with no item purchase.

You’ll be able to sample some awesome beers including Bourbon County Stout, Buffalo Sweat, Dark Horse’s Plead the 5th and Bell’s Hopslam.  Great beers, great weather, and a great cause, maybe we can convince Randall’s to hold this festival every weekend until May!

Randall’s in Fairview Heights is hosting an event they’re calling Hops for Heroes next Saturday, August 15th from 12-5PM.  $5 (or $10 day of) will get you samples of a bunch of delicious breweries along with some breweries not currently available including Great Lakes, Upland, and Destihl.

All proceeds from this event will go to Backstoppers.  Head out to enjoy some tasty beers and help a good cause.

Today, from 4PM to 6:30PM the Wine and Cheese Place in Clayton will hold its weekly Friday beer tasting in which they’ll be sampling: Praga Pils, Praga Dark Lager, Fullers London Porter, American Patriot Beer, and New Holland BeerHive. Additional information can be found at their blog.
