lukasliquor.gifIf you’ve been following the Lukas Liquor blog, then this is old news to you.  But if you haven’t, Lukas Liquor has a new website.  Promising regular updates from their Beer, Spirits, and Wine Departments, it sounds like another resource to find out about new beers coming into St. Louis.

Also, if you do visit, make sure to copy their new beers and add them into the STL Hops Beer List!  Good work on the new site guys, it looks very promising!

A couple of quick beer tastings to tell you about.

Today, from 4PM to 6:30PM the Wine and Cheese Place in Clayton will be having a tasting featuring New Holland Beers, Coney Island Block Head, Aventinus 2005, Hitachino 2009 Commerative, and So Tier Back Burner Barley Wine. More information can be found at their blog.

Cory from deVine Wines and Spirts, located at 2961 Dougherty Ferry Rd, will be holding a tasting with Derek Bean of MoBev on Saturday, February 7th from 5PM to 8PM and trying out Anderson Valley Winter Solstice, New Holland Mad Hatter IPA, New Holland Full Circle, New Holland The Poet, Bear Republic Hop Rod Rye, Peter’s Cream Stout, Kasteel Rouge, Karmeliet Trippel, He’Brew Limited 12th Edition, Weihenstephaner Kristall Weiss, Unibroue Maudite, and Delirum Tremens.

Mike at the Wine and Cheese Place in Rock Hill will also be holding a tasting tomorrow, the 24th, from 1PM to 4PM. He’ll be sampling these beers: New Holland Mad Hatter IPA, New Holland Sundby, New Holland Kolsch, and New Holland The Poet.. Once again, more information can be found at their blog.

Lukas Liquor in Ellisville will be sampling a number of beers from their draught system, including New Holland’s The Poet. This tasting will be on Saturday, November 14th and will run from 1PM-4PM. You can find more info on their blog.

lukasliquor.gifLukas Liquor in Ballwin will be holding its annual tasting event The Amazing Taste this Sunday, October 5th from 1PM to 5PM. This event will be raising money for Angels’ Arms, a local organization benefiting foster children, and finding suitable homes for the children until a permanent home is found. The cost of the event is $25 in advance, and $30 on the day of the event.

This event will be featuring live entertainment, informational tasting classes and over 250 wines, over 100 spirits, and over 100 beers to taste. Tickets for this event can be purchased here. After the break is the full list of beers being served at the event.

Lukas Liquor in Ellisville will be tasting not only draught Koenig Ludwig, La Chouffe, and Racer 5 but they will also be sampling Schlafly Oktoberfest and Aynger Oktoberfest as well. This tasting will be on Saturday, September 20th and will run from 1PM-4PM. You can find more info on their blog.

The Wine and Cheese Place in Clayton has moved their weekend tastings to Friday which is a great way to start your weekends. Today, from 4PM to 6:30PM they’ll be tasting BrewDog Paradox Islay, Karmeliet Tripel, Rogue Shakespeare Stout, Rogue Double Dead Guy, and Cantillon Kriek Lambic More information can be found at their blog.
