iTap-Goose-TapTakeover

deschutes_brewery_logoYou know what doesn’t get enough love? Nitro beer. Sure, we get all giddy when a new beer comes out on draft or even on cask, but the nitro handle is a workhorse that just does its job day in and day out.

Breweries know that nitro is special though, they also know that it’s kind of an (PUN ALERT) untapped market. Which is why a brewery like Deschutes Brewery is doing something very cool by throwing a Nitro Night.

Tonight only (Wednesday, February 13th) the International Tap House in Soulard will be putting on three different nitro beers from Deschutes: Jubelale, Obsidian Stout, and Red Chair. And if that wasn’t enough, beginning at 6PM you buy a pint and you get to keep a glass (while supplies last).

Also in attendance this evening will be Missouri Market Manager Karen King and Marketing Communications Specialist Erik Frank. They’ll be there to spread some Deschutes cheer and enjoy some great beer. You should come out and do the same.

Both International Tap House locations will host Summit Brewing Company  “Keep the Pint” nights this week. You can grab these pint glasses made exclusively for the St. Louis market at the Chesterfield location on Tuesday, May 29th starting at 6PM.

Want to stay closer to the city? Well they’ve got you covered at the Soulard location also. Come out to Soulard on Thursday, May 31 at 6PM and you can grab one there.

Summit will be pouring:

  • Oatmeal Stout Nitro
  • Maibock
  • Unchained #9 Dunkel Weizen

For those of you that are looking to add another glass to your ever growing collections, be sure not to miss out on these very special glasses.
