#3tff_dec2014‘Tis the season. The season of getting together with family and friends. The season of getting and most importantly, the season of giving. To celebrate all of these things Femme Ferment has teamed up with Girls Pint Out to put on a special happy hour tomorrow, December 16th from 5PM-8PM at the Schlafly Tap Room.

Not only is this a great time to get together and see some friends for some holiday cheer, but also FF and GPO are using this as an opportunity to help a good cause. This time of year is a great reminder to help those who are less fortunate than some of us.

The happy hour is looking for donations of “winter necessities” including coats, scarves, mittens, hats, women’s deodorant and men’s underwear in larger sizes. All of these items will be benefiting the St. Patrick Center.

Head out tomorrow night, have a couple of beers and help some people out.

A lot of our friends and family were recently affected by the tornadoes that plowed through the metro area.  If you’re looking for a way to give back, there are a few restaurants in Ferguson that are helping out.

This Friday, May 6th, Ferguson Brewing Co., Marley’s Bar & Grill, Cork Wine Bar, Corner Coffee House, and Vincenzo’s will all be donating 20% of their sales to the recovery and repair efforts in Ferguson. Donations will be accepted at all of these locations as well.

If you haven’t had a chance to visit the lovely Ferguson Brewing Company, this is a perfect opportunity to not only try some of their beer, but also a chance to help a good cause.

wfm.gifIf you guys don’t know Andy Snead by now, well then you obviously have never bought beer at the Galleria Whole Foods. Andy is a good dude that is always willing to stand there and talk beer with you for a few minutes. He also is one of the few people selling some aged beer in St. Louis, you just need to nicely ask him what he has in the back!

Well, Andy and the Whole Foods Crew are trying to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society by participating in the Express Scripts Gateway Getaway Ride in Columbia Missouri on September 6th and 7th. This is a great cause and Andy is a great guy, so let’s see if we can get him to his goal of $500! Donations can be made HERE.
