This is how I’m going to begin this post: DO NOT MISS THIS FESTIVAL.

It’s worth noting this will be the LAST 2nd Shift and Friends Beer Festival to take place at Cedar Creek. So, don’t miss out on this festival.

To help celebrate friendship and community, the always eager guys and gals at 2nd Shift Brewing are putting on their fourth annual summer beer festival in New Haven, MO which they’ve dubbed the 2nd Shift and Friend 420th Annual Beerfest. The most important part of that title, with the exception of the “Beerfest” part, is “Friends.”

Being a craft brewery means being in a community of brewers that works together to create some great beer. So, 2nd Shift invited out a bunch of great breweries to have a party on July 18th from 12-4PM. Here’s a list of breweries and vendors who plan to attend:

  • 4 Hands Brewing
  • Augusta Brewing
  • Bounty Beverage
  • Charleville Brewing
  • Civil Life Brewing Co
  • Earthbound Brewing
  • Excel Brewing
  • Exit 6 Brewing
  • Ferguson Brewing
  • Garage Brewers Society
  • Heavy Riff Brewing
  • Kirkwood Station Brewing
  • O’Fallon Brewery
  • One Trick Pony Brewery
  • Perennial Artisan Ales
  • Pipeworks Brewing
  • Prison Brews
  • Public House Brewing
  • Rock Bridge Brewing
  • Schlafly
  • Side Project Brewing
  • STL Hops Homebrew Club
  • Square One Brewing
  • Transient Artisan Ales
  • Urban Chestnut Brewing
  • Wiseacre Brewing

Tickets for this event, which can be purchased from Brown Paper Tickets, will cost you $35 in advance and $40 day of. Additional information including address and phone number can also be found via the link to Brown Paper Tickets.

Do not miss out on this amazing weekend of fun.

This is how I’m going to begin this post: DO NOT MISS THIS FESTIVAL.  An addendum to that last sentence: DO STAY OVERNIGHT!

To help celebrate that history of brewing, the always eager guys at 2nd Shift Brewing are putting on their third annual summer beer festival in New Haven, MO which they’ve dubbed the 2nd Shift and Friend 12th Annual Beerfest. The most important part of that title, with the exception of the “Beerfest” part, is “Friends.”

Being a craft brewery means being in a community of brewers that works together to create some great beer. So, 2nd Shift invited out a bunch of great breweries to have a party on July 6th from 1-5PM.  Here’s a list of breweries who plan to attend:

Tickets for this event, which can be purchased from Brown Paper Tickets, will cost you $30 in advance and $35 day of. Additional information including address and phone number can also be found via the link to Brown Paper Tickets.

If you’re really looking for the full 2nd Shift experience, they’re also offering a limited number of overnight packages that will include dinner, drinks, a room, and breakfast.  The fee for this package also includes usage of the golf course, swimming pool, and tennis courts.

You can inquire about the overnight packages, which is in ADDITION to the $25/$30 beerfest ticket, by calling 573-237-3421.  These rooms sell out quickly, so make sure to call as soon as possible.

I cannot stress enough that while the festival is an amazing time, it’s the after-party that seals the deal.  Do not miss out on this amazing weekend of fun.

If the boys at 2nd Shift Brewing know how to do anything, it’s brew beer.  But, if you had to pick a second thing they’re good at, it’s showing people a good time.  So, if you don’t have anything planned for this Saturday afternoon make sure to come on out to the 2nd Shift and Friends 201st Annual Beerfest.

Not only will they have breweries represented from all around Missouri, but they’ll also have fun things to do like have yard games to play (washers, bags, etc.) along with having a Closest to the Pin contest on the first hole of the golf course located on their property.

There will be over 15 different breweries represented at the festival, include some of your first chances to try beers from the new local breweries about to open.  2nd Shift’s Craig Borcherding sent me a list of the beers that 2nd Shift will be pouring this weekend:

Regulars
Art of Neurosis
HIbiscus Wit
Wheat Freak

New
Cat Spit Stout

Pilot Batches
Chinook/Centennial IPA
Saison
Hefe-Stout
Dunkelweizen

I’m not kidding when I say this will be a hell of a great time and probably the most unique beer festival you’ll ever attend. Tickets are still available here.
