Starrs Beer Dinner
April 8, 2008 1:42 pm Beer EventsBud Starr emailed me to let me know of a beer dinner he planned with his chef to take place on April 30th at Starrs Market. The cost of the event is $50 including tax and tip. I must say I’m also very pleased by the beer selection, it looks very well thought out. Call 314-781-2345 for reservations. I know I’m planning on attending.

To answer your question, Sam, Starr’s is an excellent little market of sorts on Big Bend in Richmond Heights. They have an excellent wine, liquor and beer selection; plus, fresh roasted coffee, good foods and now a restaurant.
Bud Starr, the owner, is a character and he stresses customer service above all.
Back in the 1990’s this was THE place to look for interesting beers on this side of the Mississippi, while Dino’s in Edwardsville was the place to go beer shopping on the Illinois side of The Big River.
