Canned craft beer is big business in St. Louis right now. We’ve seen Kirkwood Station Brewing Co. and 4 Hands Brewing show up with new cans in the market and I’m happy to announce that Six Row Brewing is canning beer as well.
Utilizing the same mobile canning unit that KSB and 4 Hands are using, Six Row decided to make a splash and bring out a 16oz 4-pack of cans as well. But new packaging wasn’t enough for head brewer Evan Hiatt, he decided to give Six Row a bit of a refresh and introduce two new beers as well.
If all goes to plan, beginning late next week we should be seeing 4-packs of Whale and two new offerings: Sunshine Slowdown and Arch Nemesis Midnight Black IPA.
Sunshine Slowdown is a Six Row’s take on a American-style Cream Ale, which is perfect for the warm summer months. The Arch Nemesis is a bigger monster, a Black IPA coming in at 8.5% ABV with 80 IBUs.
These are going to be year-round beers and if everything goes the way Six Row expects, a fourth seasonal can should be online later this autumn. Great to have another can option here in St. Louis!
