sideproject-2ndShiftFor those of you that attended the Super Secret 2nd Shift party a few weeks ago, you had your first chance to try out the 2nd Shift Brewing and Side Project Brewing collaboration called PARKAS. Many of you asked when that delicious beer would be available, well, I have all of the details for you.

This Saturday, December 20th you’ll have your opportunity to not only purchase the 2nd Shift version of this collaboration, but also the Side Project version that owner Cory King has named Lattice. Sales of both beers begin at 12PM at the Perennial Artisan Ales tasting room.

To honor 2nd Shift’s love of hops, Cory created a farmhouse pale ale that he generously dry-hopped with Amarillo and Galaxy hops. And to celebrate Cory’s love of funk, 2nd Shift’s owner Steve Crider created a 100% barrel fermented, barrel-aged brett beer.

For those of you that are showing up to buy bottles on Saturday, the standard Perennial bottle release rules still apply. There will not be ANY overnight camping allowed. But you will be welcome to show up bright and early and bottle sharing will be allowed until the doors open at 12PM. (Please clean up your bottles, things have been kind of messy as of late, you don’t want to lose this amazing privilege.)

If you can’t make it out to buy these beers, don’t fret! I’ve been told that both of these beers will on draft side-by-side on Tuesday, December 30th at the Side Project Cellar at 6PM.
