I love the word “ridiculous.” It’s fun to say, it’s fun to use, but for many people it’s not very much fun to spell. It’s also a great way to describe some things.

For instance, it’s completely factual to say that Bridge Tap House has a ridiculous number of tap handles. It’s also true to say they offer up a ridiculous amount of great beer.  But you know what’s absolutely ridiculous?  Putting on a whole week of beer events.

Starting tonight, Bridge will be hosting a full week offering up some delicious beer each night.  Here’s a list of events taken directly from the Bridge website:

Monday: St. Louis debut of Firestone Walker and Nectar Ales. We will have FSW Double Jack and FSW Abacus draft and bottle, Nectar IPA and Nectar Hemp on draft, along with FSW Anniversary 14 and FSW Walker’s Reserve in bottles.

Tuesday: St. Louis debut of Schlafly Export IPA on draft.

Wednesday: The Founder’s Stouts Pre-St. Patrick’s Day Explosion. We will be tapping Founder’s Breakfast Stout, Imperial Stout, Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS), and a guest appearance by a certain “Backwoods Bastard”.

Thursday: $4 Jameson and Bushmills Shots, Green Popcorn (Wasabi, not really Irish at all, but who’s counting), and House made Corned Beef Specials.

Friday: Sammy Hagar will be signing autographs and selling his new book “Red” next door at Left Bank Books, so we’ll be serving, what else, Cabo and Cans. Specials on shots of Sammy’s Cabo Wabo Tequila (limes and salt will not be available), along with CansaBeer, including Bavik Pils, Wittekerke, Lion’s Imperial Lager and Stout,  and Caldera’s Amber, IPA and Pale.

Saturday: Bloody Mary’ s with Pearl Cucumber and Scrimshaw after the St. Pat’s Day Run and Corned Beef Hash.

Sunday: Yawn, stretch, and reflect on a great week.

Now, some of these events are specifically about beer, but Bridge has so much great beer to offer I’m sure you’ll find a way to have a ridiculously good time.
