It’s now September, can we stop talking about seasonal creep with pumpkin beers? I think the fine folks at Schlafly cleared up why we’re seeing pumpkin beers in August. (It’s worth pointing out that we’ve seen pumpkin beers in August for at least 3-4 years and we see the complaining about pumpkin beers coming out in August for the last 3-4 years.)

Anyway, enough of my kvetching. Pumpkin beers are here, and I for one love them. If you’re like me then you’ll want to visit Llywelyn’s Pub in Webster Groves this Saturday, September 21st to enjoy their first Pumpkin Beer Festival.

Beginning when the doors open at 11AM (and running all day), Llywelyn’s will be rolling out the following pumpkin beers: UCBC Count Orlok Black Pumpkin Ale, Southern Tier PumpKing, Red Hook Out of Your Gourd Pumpkin Porter, and Six Row Punktoberfest. And knowing Llywelyn’s, I’m sure they’ve got another couple lined up as well.

Forget about the haters and enjoy yourself some pumpkin beers this Saturday at Llywelyn’s in Webster.
