Why can’t we be friends? Why can’t wine and beer get along? We’re both delicious, we both go well with food, we both can share equal footing, can’t we?

Rather than look at the Perennial Artisan Ales Wine vs Beer Dinner as a competition, I’d rather view it as an opportunity to provide enlightenment for the two groups that seemingly love to battle each other over something that should unite and not divide.

The dinner, which is taking place next Tuesday, March 6th, will feature four different courses paired with wines from Harsha Wines and beers from Perennial with the dinner being created by Entre. Tickets for this event are $60 per person and reservations can be made by calling 314-631-7300.  Here’s a look at the menu:

Cheese course: Parmesan broth with winter root veg
Fruit course: Grits, scallops, blueberries
Nut course: Black walnut mole, lamb loin, shiitakes.
Dessert: Bitter orange cake
