image1In case you missed it, Charleville Brewing Co. announced a new location located in downtown St. Louis at 2101 Chouteau Ave.

This new location will serve as a second location for Charleville, allowing everyone the opportunity to enjoy Charleville beers without having to travel to Ste. Genevieve. To preview this new location, Charleville and their new partners the Hamilton Hospitality Group are throwing a little party to show off the space.

This Thursday, October 20th from 5-8pm Charleville will be hosting Boar and Brew. Charleville will be selling four different barrel-aged beers by the bottle:

Flanders Red – aged in oak barrels with cherries

BA Box of Chocolate – aged in bourbon barrels **VERY LIMITED Quantities**

They will also be serving a pig roast dinner with two sides for $11.99 per person. You will also have the opportunity to look over the new space and the blueprints as well.

mce_beer4waterfinal-20160921-131809125It takes a lot of water to make beer. Way more water than you’d ever imagine. We’re very lucky in Missouri that we have an organization devoted to making sure our water stays clean. The Missouri Coalition for the Environment is throwing a fundraising beer festival this Sunday, from 2pm-5pm called Beer 4 Water.

Thanks to the MCE, I have two tickets to give away for this event.

We’ll make this an easy contest, just email contest@stlhops.com with Beer4Water as the subject. I’ll pick two winners on Friday, October 7th at 9AM. A couple of quick notes:

  • If you’ve won something from STL Hops in the past 6 months, please be cool and let someone else enter.
  • You must be 21 or older to enter.
  • No multiple entries.

If you don’t win this one, don’t worry I will be holding more contests like this in the future, so you’ll have another chance then. Good luck! Tickets for this event are still available as well!
