Mattingly Brewing Company‘s head brewer Drew Huerter sent along news that Mattingly will be hosting their first beer dinner on Thursday, February 26th starting at 6:30 PM. They will be serving five courses and an appetizer each paired with their year-round ales.

mattingly_84x128.jpgAppetizer: Flatbread Trio – House made flatbread baked fresh and served with our own Hummus, Tapenade and Pesto spreads.
1984 Golden Ale – Pre prohibition style Cream Ale brewed with corn from Alhambra, Ill and plenty of hops.

Salad: Salmon Salad – Floured and fried salmon over spinach and dressed with orage viniagrette.
BrightSide Belgian White – A true Belgian style wheat ale brewed with fresly ground coriander, orange zest and candied ginger.

Bread & Cheese: Brown Ale & Goat Cheese Rarebit – Warm dip made with goat cheese and our brown ale with crostinis.
Homeward Brown Ale – An American Brown Ale which takes Robust Porter to English Dark Mild proportions.

Meat & Pasta: Chicken in Spicy Tomato Sauce – Served with pasta in a light olive oil dressing.
HOPtimal APA – Our sessionable hop bomb. Double IPA hop character in a small, quaffable package.

Main Course: Shepherd’s Pie – Traditional shepherd’s pie topped with Stout Porter Gravy.
Black Sky Stout Porter – Our Black Ale that lives somewhere between an Oatmeal Stout and a Robust Porter.

Dessert: Blackberry Delights – Blackberry Cobbler and Blackberry Cake made from scratch.
Cardinal Direction Abbey Dubbel – A Trappist style amber ale rich in caramel, dark fruit and spice and enough alchol to warm.
