March Arrival for Left Hand Brewing

10:25 am Beer News

lefthand.jpgSara White from Sauce sent me an email letting me know that Left hand Brewing should be arriving in Missouri in late March.  This is another one of those breweries that you can get across river, but not here in St. Louis.  Some of Left Hand’s beers include: Black Jack Porter, Jackman’s American Pale Ale and one of the Alström Brothers favorite beers of 2008, Polestar Pilsner.

As soon as these beers hit the shelves, I’ll be sure to let everyone know.

minor factoid - I’m pretty sure that they’re named for Left Hand Canyon (outside of town) . . . I’m not familiar with their beers . . .

I can vouch for these guys. Nice brewery in Longmont with a real passionate crew. The milk stout is true to the style and their Twin Sisters DIPA was delicious. Overall a quality line up and several beers I would put into my regular rotation along with Great Divide’s offerings. The real question is when are we going to see Dale’s Pale Ale in Missouri. Now there is a great beer.

Loved this stuff when I was in school in Boulder. Sawtooth was one of my favorites.

For those of you who remember Tabernash’s beers from Colorado, Left Hand purchased their brands went they went under and still make the old Tabernash Weisse and Pilsner beers under new monikers.

    Good stuff!
