Way back in February I happened to be at the right place at the right time and Mike Walters from Left Hand Brewing just so happened to be at Bridge Tap House. Knowing that the Left Hand Milk Stout bottles would soon be nitro versions, I asked Mike when they would arrive.

“Late 2012.”

Well, I love it when a man lives up to his word, because Mike sent me an email to let me know that we’ll begin seeing the nitro version of the Left Hand Milk Stout arrive in bottles in about 4 weeks. One of the more interesting things about the bottle is that it contains no widget, Left Hand put forth the research to figure out how to achieve that same creamy nitro pour without having to use a widget.

For those of you that might have missed it, here’s the video of Mike showing how to properly pour the beer:

While we already have the draught version of this product available, it’s going to be great to be able to pick up bottles to enjoy that same nitro version at home.
