Believe it or not, there are people in St. Louis that complain about the pricing for some of our beer festivals. To them I say, find another place in St. Louis where you can drink craft beer for 4-5 hours and it only costs you $25-35. We’re ridiculously lucky to have such reasonably priced festivals.
So, color me a little shocked when I saw that IndiHop, taking place this Saturday, June 1st from 12PM-5PM, is priced at $15. (Apparently the price was supposed to go up to $20 as of the 24th, but even at $20, that’s still an insane price.) And what does 15 (or 20) dollars get you? It gets you a “tasting glass, event booklet, shuttle transportation between the Grove and Cherokee Street and the opportunity to taste up to 50 of St. Louis’ finest independently brewed beers.”
Participating local breweries include: Cathedral Square, O’Fallon, Urban Chestnut, 4 Hands, Ferguson, Morgan Street, Civil Life, Six Row, Schlafly, Square One, and 2nd Shift. This is a great way to celebrate to awesome neighborhoods and a bunch of local breweries all for a very low price. Tickets on sale here.
