libertine-logoThe Libertine has been one of the hottest tickets in town since opening its doors this past May. It shouldn’t be that surprising a the Libertine’s Josh Galliano is one of the best chefs in town. While Josh’s roots are in Louisiana, he’s laid down some new roots in Southern Illinois.

On Monday, July 29th the Libertine will be throwing a five course beer dinner featuring beers with an Illinois flavor. Some of the selections will be a surprise, but expect beers from Excel and of course the Perennial/Half Acre collaboration Plan B.
