hopsart.gifArt St. Louis will be holding Hops Art 2008 this Saturday, October 18th from 6PM-9PM. According to their website, Art Saint Louis helps to create exhibitions, while supporting growth opportunities for emerging and established contemporary artists within the St. Louis region. Hops Art 2008 allows local artists talents to be displayed all while enjoying local cuisine and beers from St. Louis and the world. Here’s the quote from the press release:

Hops Art is an evening of outstanding art along with scrumptious cuisine paired with tasty beer. Hops Art 2008 focuses on ASL member artworks presented through several digital exhibitions both projected on the Art Saint Louis gallery walls and displayed on laptops throughout the gallery. New this year, each participating artist will also be invited to exhibit one piece of actual artwork in the gallery during the event. St. Louis area restaurants and caterers will be on-hand offering samples of their delectable menus and local breweries will tempt the audience with their frothy concoctions.

Hops Art will take place at the Art Saint Louis gallery which is located at 555 Washington Avenue, #150, St. Louis, MO 63101. Tickets are $35 in advance, $45 day of show. They can be purchased at the Art St. Louis Gallery. This is a great chance to help local artists all while enjoying some beer and food.
