TF Gumballhead...hands down. I could drink that all summer long and not get tired of it. If anyone is going up to Chicagoland this summer, I'd be interested in buying/trading for a case of it. TA-STY!!

If I'm picking all time, I'd say pre-Miller Celis White, followed closely by post-Miller Celis White, followed by Michigan Brewing Company's version of Celis White. :D

I'm not crazy about Bavarian Wheats. I have a mild allergic reaction to bananas, and I think the aroma just puts me off.

I like, but don't love, Gumballhead and Oberon.

Cheers,

Dave

depends on what i'm in the mood for. I like Oberon a lot. I also like Paulaner and Weihenstephaner a lot. Something like Boulevard Wheat is perfect for getting someone to cross over from their horrid Anhueser Busch addictions. It's great to have so much of a variety, so I really never get tired of any one beer, or style for that matter.

Oberon and the heat of a St. Louis summer are a perfect match.

Not a big wheat beer fan. Probably a Belgian Wit is the closest i'd get, so I'll say Hoegaarden or a homebrewed wit (50% wheat, 50% pils/2-row).

I think for summer months, a nice Kolsch style is more up my alley. Of course I'd rather be in the Colorado mountains with 40-degree mid-July nights enjoying some Hercules DIPA.

Coincidently, I'm having a Wheat Beer Class next month at WFM-Brentwood (officially known as Galleria).
Not too sure, but I think the date is the 17th.
Nice mix of American, Bavarian, and Belgian.
Light snacks.
You never know who will show up!

Probably Gumballhead. But the Southern Tier UberSun I had last night was pretty tasty.

No one's mentioned Wittekerke yet? It's fantastic. Belgian wheats all the way (um, except for all those great German dunkelweizens).

Franziskaner or Franziskaner Dunkelweizen on draft--where you can find it!!!

What about O'Fallon Wheach and Boulevard Zon, why weren't those listed as options? Get either one of these on tap, and that, to me, is a perfect match for St. Louis summertime weather!

Yeah, that's great beer.

I don't know if you guys are familiar with this, but that is the old Tabernash Weisse beer recipe. To my knowledge, that one and Left Hand's Pilsner are the remaining two beers from Tabernash that Left Hand still produces.

...and it's a damn fine Pilsner, too!
We had it at my Pils class and it was the crowd favorite.
