About
The club was formed by Troy Meier early in 2012 and had its first meeting in April 2012. It is open to homebrewers of all experience and skill level. Extract, all grain, BIAB, we don't care.

Meetings
Meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month at Perennial Artisan Ales from 7-9pm. Meeting dues are $4 per meeting or $35 for an annual membership. Benefits of an annual membership are listed below.

Meeting Rules
- Bring beer. This isn't required, but is certainly encouraged. It's a great way to get feedback on homebrew you may have. Please be open to any comments you may get about your beer. If you find a flaw in someone else's beer, try to help them figure out what went wrong. Be respectful, but don't be afraid to criticize a beer as it will help the brewer going forward. Commercial beers are welcome, but try to keep them to a minimum.
- Bring a tasting glass. The club will provide plastic cups to anyone who forgets. Do not borrow a glass from Perennial unless it is given to you by one of the employees.
- Be respectful of our host. Perennial is not open on Tuesdays and have graciously allowed us use of their tasting room. No one is allowed behind the bar. No one should pour beer from their taps. No one should enter the brewery unless escorted by an employee. At the end of the night please cleanup any mess you may have made. Dispose of any bottles you aren't taking home. We welcome monthly volunteers to help cleanup at the end of the night. In short, don't be a dick. We don't want to lose our meeting space.

50/50 Competition
This will happen at every meeting. Anyone who wants to enter the competition needs to submit $2 and a minimum of 24oz of beer (two bottles, one 750, a growler, etc). Anyone at the meeting is free to sample all of the beers and vote for their favorite. The beer with the most votes wins for the month and will take half of the entry fees. The other half will go to the club. Be prepared to describe your beer after the results are announced.

Tech Talks
We try to have a tech talk at each meeting. Anyone who would like to give a talk is welcome to, please discuss your ideas with the club officers. Be respectful of anyone giving a tech talk.

Annual Membership Benefits
Annual members will get club cards (soon) noting their paid membership. We have several places that have offered various perks to our annual members. This list will be updated as we get new places on board.
- Heavy Riff Brewing (opening soon) - happy hour prices at all times on beers.
- Urban Chestnut Brewing - 10% off pints in the tasting room and wholesale keg pricing.
- St. Louis Wine & Beer - 10% off all purchases
- Schlafly - Employee pricing on all kegs

Club Updates
We do not plan on keeping a mailing list. Mike Sweeney has created this subforum and it will be used to communicate meeting minutes, club announcements, discussion, etc. If you aren't signed up on the forum, please do so.

Club Officers
