flyingsaucerlogoThere were plenty of people nervous when Flying Saucer came into town last year. They were worried about allocations, they were worried about loss of special events, they were worried about a loss of business.

But competition is good.  Instead what we saw was everyone bringing their A-game.  People stepping up and doing cooler stuff to try and out-do each other.  Who wins?  Everyone. Our beer scene is better because of Flying Saucer.

One of the coolest aspects of the Saucer is its proximity to Busch Stadium. Thanks to the crush of fans around the stadium, more people are being introduced to craft beer than ever.  This is a very good thing.

All of this is exposition is to say that believe it or not, Flying Saucer St. Louis is turning one-year-old. And to celebrate their first year in St. Louis they’re throwing a big party this Sunday, March 16th beginning at 12PM.
