In writing some of the beer articles for the St. Louis Post Dispatch, one of the complaints that Adam Jadhav keeps hearing is, “but the prices of some of those beers are so high!” So Adam is on a quest to find not only a tasty beer, but one that won’t break the bank. Adam is looking to keep the price of a six pack to $6.
Now, you may be saying to yourself right now, “Mike, that’s a really difficult task. Malt, hop and transportation prices are through the roof which is driving up the price of a six-pack!” I know, because I made the same argument to Adam when he posed a $5 cap to me last night. But I don’t think an awesome six dollar six-pack is unattainable.
I think this is the perfect opportunity to hook people that may not normally buy a craft beer into paying a tiny bit more (a six-pack of Bud costs about 5.50 now) for a more flavorful product. So, any suggestions for Adam?
