St. Louis has seen quite an uptick of new beer locations and breweries opening in the past few years. For those of us that love beer, it’s been the renascence we’ve been waiting for. This time around, we don’t just have a beer location or a brewery opening, we have both.

I’m excited to announce that Exit 6 Brewery, located at 5055 Highway N in Cottleville, will be opening its doors tomorrow, July 29th, at 4PM. In a format that has worked famously for other beer bars in the area, Exit 6 will only be selling beer. You’re welcome to bring your own food in or even have it delivered.

Exit 6 will not only be a bar featuring some of the best beers you can find in the metro area, but it will also eventually be a nano-brewery as well. Exit 6 will be using its all electric brewing system to create 1 barrel batches of beer. Jeff Britton, owner of Exit 6, is still waiting on government approval to begin brewing on his new system, but Jeff informed me yesterday that approval could come as soon as next week.

In the mean time, Exit 6 will still be selling plenty of great beer. Here’s a look at the line-up:

  • Lagunitas WTF
  • Green Flash West Coast IPA
  • Nebraska Cardinal Pale Ale
  • 2nd Shift Hibiscus Wit
  • Goose Island Matilda
  • O’Fallon 5 Day IPA
  • Goose Island 312
  • Schlafly Kolsch
  • Stone IPA
  • Stone Ruination
  • Firestone Walker Double Jack
  • Blvd Tank 7
  • Sam Adams Dunkle
  • Founders Reds Rye
  • Founders Dirty Bastard
  • Left Hand Milk Stout
  • Bell’s Two Hearted
  • Odell 5 Barrel Pale Ale

And in a very special treat, there will also be a cask of O’Fallon 5 Day IPA that’s been dry-hopped with Centennial and Citra hops. The doors open at 4PM tomorrow, so be certain to pre-game your St. Louis Craft Beer Week right by visiting Exit 6.
