To celebrate their 24th anniversary Deschutes Brewery out of Bend, Oregon has created a beer that pays homage to their roots all while exploring what beer can beer. The Deschutes Black Butte XXIV is an imperial version of their Black Butte Porter with a recipe tweek each year the beer is released.
This year’s version features artisanal dark chocolate nibs, Deglet dates, and Mission figs. I don’t know about you, but this sounds pretty awesome. To celebrate the release of this beer Deschutes has partnered with the International Tap House in Chesterfield to launch this beer in St. Louis. You’ll be able to have your first taste of this beer on draft at 6PM tonight, Tuesday, September 4th.
As an added bonus, you’ll also have an opportunity to try Deschutes Obsidian Stout on Nitro. This is the first time this year-round beer has been made available in St. Louis, just in time for fall.
