If you’re looking to Erin Go Bragh tomorrow here’s a couple of places with a great beer selection that will be celebrating the national day of drinking:

The Stable:  Opening at 7AM tomorrow and will be serving up breakfast of eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, corned beef hash.  A great way to start the morning.  It’s important to lay down a base.

International Tap House:  Open at 1pm; $3 Guinness, Smithwicks, Harp and Boulevard Irish Ale.  Live Music starts at 8pm.

Growlers Pub:  Both locations will be offering an all you can eat breakfast buffet from 6am to 10am that includes your choice of coffee, juice or a pint of Harp, Smethwicks, or Guinness.  The from 11am to close they’ll be offering a Corn Beef and Cabbage dinner.  Live music as well.

The Royale: Offering up a selection of  stouts, ales, whiskeys, Guinness beef stew, Bangers and Mash (meat or vegetarian) and more starting at 11:30AM.  Then from  4pm-6pm there will be live Irish music from the Gannon Junior Crew Duo.  John Gassel will provide Irish and Irish inspired music from 9pm- close. There will also be some literature readings throughout the day and other surprises as well.

Pat’s Bar and Grill: Tapping a Cask of Schlafly APA at 10 am.

Cory from deVine Wines and Spirts, located at 2961 Dougherty Ferry Rd, holds a beer tasting every Wednesday evening from from 5PM to 8PM. Each Wednesday will offer up a few new beers for you to taste. Swing on by and check it out.

City Gourmet will be holding a New Belgium tasting this Saturday, March 13th from 1-3pm. Available to taste will be the Explorer Series and some of the Lips of Faith line. As an added bonus, you’ll also get a chance to enjoy snacks from Billy Goat Chips.

Big shout out to Dave Nelson from Beer, Wine and Whisky for picking this information up, but it looks like Capital Brewery out of Middleton, WI looks to be returning back to Missouri after a long hiatus.

Things still seem to be a bit up in the air, I called the brewery to find out what their distributing plans are and the person I talked to wasn’t quite sure at this time.  But it looks like St. Louis lager lovers will soon have a reason to rejoice.

As you may now be aware, Schlafly holds a VIP party the night before the Stout and Oyster Festival. It gives Schlafly a chance to preview the 25,000 fresh oysters they bring in before it makes it to the general public the next day. Would you like to attend such a special event? Well, here’s your chance.

Schlafly VP, Dan Kopman, has given me two passes to the Schlafly Stout and Oyster Festival, which is held on Thursday, March 18th. The Mattingly Brewing Company may now be producing full scale productions of beer, but that doesn’t stop them from showing off what’s yet to come. Tonight, Head Brewer Drew Huerter and Assistant Brewer Jerid Saffell will be offering their Elderberry Irish Ale.
