This will be taking place on March 13th, 20th, and 27th of this month from 12-5PM.  Don’t currently have a list of what beers they’ll be trying, but I’ll see if I can get one soon.

Each session will cost $30 per person with a pre-paid reservation or  $35 at the door.  This entitles you to unlimited 3oz samples during the 12-5PM tasting. Call 314-954-2326 for more details.

Schlafly will also be flying in some some celebrity shuckers to open up your oyster fyster than you can blink. With names like “Bimbo, Clam, Rawle, Silky Smooth and Thurman” I think you’re in for some really colorful characters.

Oh, and then there’s the beer. Schlafly will be offering their Nitro Irish, Oatmeal and Kaldi’s Coffee Stout. You’ll be able to combine some of your favorite Schlafly stouts with the briny delight of fresh Oysters.

Schlafly’s festival will be on start on Friday, March 19th from 5:00 p.m.-Midnight and continue on Saturday, March 20th when it will run from Noon-Midnight. Stay tuned tomorrow for a VIP Dinner contest!

This looks like a great way to raise money for a great cause.

No, it’s not.  In order to get a baseline to compare against the 8% version of the AIPA that’s arriving this spring, they needed to brew another batch of the original.

So, not only do you get one of the best IPAs in the St. Louis area served on cask, but you can get it alongside the best place to get Neapolitan Pizza in the St. Louis area, The Good Pie.

This Friday, March 5th, starting a 5PM,  a representative from the St. Louis Brewery will be tapping a cask of the American IPA and will be serving it until the cask runs out or The Good Pie closes.

Sure, you can get cask beer at the Tap Room, but you can’t get American IPA or some Neapolitan Pizza to go along with it!  Head on out there for some great pizza and beer.

There is also a Premium Session that will take place between 1PM and 2PM.  There will only be allowed a limited number of tickets for the Premium Session to allow for a better chance to try beer. Tickets for this session will be $10.
