Buffalo Brewing Looking to Sell?

As you might imagine, I hear a lot of rumor as I talk to people around the area. I try to avoid posting rumor because honestly, I think posting rumors without having any hard facts are what have given blogs a bad name over the years. It’s with extreme trepidation that I post this, but I received an email over the weekend that tipped me off to a possible sale of Buffalo Brewing Company.
I say “trepidation” because I don’t know the whole story and I don’t want to cause any problems for anyone involved with Buffalo. But this is certainly news if it is true and I hope that the prospective buyer has the passion to continue to brew great beer in St. Louis.

Just to assure everyone Buffalo is NOT closing up. He (the owner Dushan) is just looking for a investor to help out. He is pretty much a one man show. He started with equipment he already owned, built the entire place himself. Works from open(11am till 9PM)till close every weekday and till 1AM on the weekends, sometimes being the cook, bartender and manager and has a 45 mile commute. He just needs some help running the place. I take care of the beer. Mike should have asked me about this BEFORE he posted it so it he could have the real truth (just like newspaper reporters have to check all their facts before reporting a story).

Being somewhat new to the area and not being too close to their location, I had never given a lot of thought Buffalo Brewing before reading this post. But now I am compelled to sample their wares. Seems like a positive for them that they were discussed in this blog.
