Goose Island sales rep Karen King has been killing it.  First she gets us hooked up with an awesome beer dinner at Newstead Tower Public House then the next day we get an invasion of Goose Island beers at iTAP.  Now Karen comes along and provides us with some details about new beers coming down the pipe to the St. Louis area:

Fleur – Releasing this month in 650ml bottles!
Fleur is a Belgian-style pale ale blended with hibiscus and kombucha tea. Fleur is a beautiful, rose-colored ale with an aroma of strawberries and hibiscus flowers. The flavor balance starts with a hint of sweet, ripe berry and finishes tart. (7% ABV)

Blackberry Dominique – Special Release in Draft!
It looks like we had a lot of sour Matilda to experiment with at our brewery, so St. Louis is going to get to see a few more 1/6 bbls of this dreamy beer we enjoyed at the Brewmaster dinner at Newstead Tower Pub!

Blackberry Dominique is a Belgian-style sour ale aged in used Heaven Hills bourbon barrels and soured with Lactobacillus and Brettanomyces. This complex beer combines the spicy notes of Belgian yeast, the sour elements of the Lacto along with the smooth vanilla oak flavors from the bourbon barrel. On top of all of that, 55 pounds of fresh Michigan blackberries are added to each bourbon barrel to bring all of the flavors together. (9% ABV)

Bourbon County Vanilla – Special Release later this month in 650ml bottles!
The St. Louis area will be receiving a small allocation of this brew!

This is our award-winning Bourbon County Stout aged with vanilla beans. Goose Island poured this beer at the 2009 Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beer in Chicago, and drinkers loved it so much we decided we had to bottle it. (13% ABV)

Rare Bourbon County – Special Release in November in 650ml bottles!
Yes, the St. Louis area will be receiving a small allocation of this fine brew as well!

This stout was aged for two years in the finest old barrels Goose Island has used in its 18 years of bourbon barrel-aging beers! A true rarity—savor and share it only with those you hold dear, as it will never be made again. (13% ABV)

Also, the delicious 2010 Bourbon County Stout will release in bottles & draft in late November!! Yea beer!

I gotta be honest, I’ve been really impressed with everything Goose Island over the past few months, I can’t wait to see what’s in store over the next few months.
