stable_128x126.jpgThe Stable will be putting a on a beer dinner next Wednesday, December 1st featuring five courses paired with beers from Bell’s Brewery. If that’s not enough to whet your interest, I’m also told that this dinner will be hosted by Jim O’Connor from Bell’s!

The dinner will begin at 7:00PM and the price for this event is $40 which included tax and gratuity. Reservations can be made by calling 314-771-8500. Here’s a look at the menu:

Bell’s Two Hearted Ale
Crispy grit cakes,shrimp etouffee with braised kale.

Bell’s Double Cream Stout Cask
Braised beef short ribs,root vegetable puree` ,parsnip turnip and roasted carrots with a cream stout gravy.

Bell’s Winter White
Bone in pork chop,fennel apple and potato gratin,warm arugula salad with a mustard bacon vinaigrette.

Bell’s Batch 9000
Plum clafoutis with salty caramel ice cream.
