One of the coolest things I’ve ever heard associated with STL Hops is, “I’ve learned so much from the blog.” That really means a lot to me as I believe beer education is one of the things that is most important in getting the word out about craft beer.
There are a lot of people that may just be getting hip to craft beer or right on the cusp of being new drinkers, so it’s very neat to see this event pop up. This Thursday, July 14th from 6:30-8:30PM, the Schnucks Market at Wildwood Crossing will be holding their first beer school.
They’ve invited in representatives from Goose Island Brewing and Cathedral Square Brewery to come in, pour some beer and even have it paired with some cheese. This is a completely free event, but RSVP will be required. If you’re interested in attending you’ll need to call 636-458-5544 or email Matt Maxfield at firstname.lastname@example.org.
They’ve already signed up 50 people for the class and can fit about 50 more. It’s always great to see that hopefully many people will soon discover what a lot of us already know: craft beer is awesome.
