With a beautiful location and a pretty great selection of beers it’s not surprising that Basso has begun hosting beer dinners. Next Wednesday, April 17th, Basso will feature a dinner pairing courses with Urban Chestnut Brewing Company.
The cost is $48 per person (which includes tax and tip); reservations are required and can be made by following this link. Here is the menu for the event:
Single Hop Trafalgar with Prosciutto Toasts, burnt pine nut butter, blood orange marmalade
Zwickel with Fried Anchovy ‘Whitebait’, whipped ricotta, fines herbs
STLIPA with Marrow Tots, grapefruit aioli
Hop Switch (Aramis) with Crispy Soft Boiled Egg, shaved asparagus, pecorino cream
Trafalgar (E Kent Hops) with Lamb Sausage Roll, caraway, goat cheese rarebit, mustard
Schnickelfritz with Parsnip Panna Cotta Parfait, banana bread and cream, candied walnuts
Dinner begins and 7PM and will feature UCBC’s brewmaster Florian Kuplent to talk about the beers. Sounds like a fun time in a great space. Don’t miss out.
