Avery Brewing Soon in St. Louis?
January 23, 2008 3:06 pm Brewery News
Avery Brewery, the makers of Hog Heaven, Salvation and Ellie’s Brown Ale, have been sighted in Kansas City, MO. Looking at Avery’s website it looks as if Major Brands was scheduled to begin distributing them in Missouri starting this month.
With any luck we’ll be seeing them in St. Louis shortly. If you need your Avery’s fix right now though, you can easily find them at many fine Illinois vendors.

That’d be nice. Last time I was in Chicago, I brought back a bottle each of Hog Heaven and the 14. Not a huge fan of the Hog Heaven- good, but not as complex as I like in a BW. The 14 was very good though. Of their others, I’ve only tried the IPA.

If you see The Beast, buy it.

I don’t much care for The Beast or Mephistopheles, but Samael’s Ale, Gemini, Maharaja, IPA, Hog Heaven, The Czar, The Kaiser and Salvation rank amongst my favorites.
