To me, it looks like the eagle is getting the hell out of there.

The mighty AB eagle was sitting in the classic “A” logo and that “inbev” part fell out of the sky and scared him off. Next the the vultures will land on the AB to feed on the carcass.
So does this mean the great “flapping-wings” eagle sign on 40 is removed? Or does it get grandfathered in, like the big Amoco sign at Clayton and Skinker?
At any rate, the logo looks like it should belong to a regional airline that went bankrupt in 1997.
I heard that they are keeping the original logo here in St. Louis. I’m certainly glad.

Wow is that horrible… and not just because it is an ABInBev logo.

Well, that is quite generic. Isn’t there a credit union around here that has a logo something like that?

It looks as cheap as Carlos Brito is.

Just think of the eagle as jobs, and the AB part as St. Louis.

I don’t get the comments about “how cheap” Carlos Brito is that I’ve heard echoed the past several months. First, most people knew nothing about him or Inbev before May; and, now, everyone’s an expert.
But, more importantly, what is wrong with a top business executive flying Southwest instead of private planes? What is wrong with a corporate culture where there’s no executive parking spaces? These seem like prudent business decisions that send out a better message than the arrogance displayed by A-B all of these years.
One more thing, why would self-professed beer enthusiasts, like the good folks on this site, be so bitter about A-B being bought out?
I don’t think anyone seems that bitter, I just think people think the logo sucks.

Bitter or not, Mike, I gotta Soap Box dammit!!!
And another thing, so many people around St. Louis are painting Brito out to be The Bad Guy. But, in reality, the Busch family are the bad guys in all of this. They did this to themselves. They have only themselves to blame. And, what’s worse, is The Fourth is making out like a bandit by landing himself on the new Board.

Wait and see how ruthless InBev is. They will be “modifying” Bud with cheaper materials and aging will be shortened in order to get the beer out faster. Quality is not their biggest concern, quantity is. The almighty penny steers them. Have fun, we are.

That is the ugliest logo I have ever seen. AB should be ashamed of themselves for letting those foriegners do such a thing.
