One of the things that we were missing in St. Louis for quite some time was special releases of beer. We definitely had some cool beers coming out, but there wasn’t special events put on for these releases. Some people like the low-key beer releases, but I’m a fan of the special release events. It not only highlights the brewery, but also helps to promote our vibrant beer scene.
Luckily, 4 Hands Brewing agrees with me and is throwing a special event this Sunday, March 2nd to release their the 2nd installment in their barrel-aged saison series, the Cuvee Diable. According to 4 Hands owner Kevin Lemp the Diable “is the brother beer to Cuvee Ange, Cuvee Diable is a farmhouse saison aged in Cabernet barrels for 10 months with tart cherries.”
Because this is such a limited release this beer will ONLY be available at the brewery, it will not see a release in the retail market. If you want a chance for this beer, it will be sold beginning at 12PM at 4 Hands Brewing. They will be selling bottles for $14.99 (limit of six per person) along with two different options to enjoy it on draft:
Draft Option #1 = 16 ounce pour and a 16 ounce stemmed glass for $14.99 – keep the glass
Draft Option #2 = 12 ounce pour for $6.00
If you want a chance at this beer, don’t miss out, be there on Sunday.
