My how time flies. It seems like just yesterday that our friends at 4 Hands Brewing Company opened their doors for a “soft opening” that saw people lined up outside the building and down the sidewalk. It was a sight to see. Fast forward to now and the momentum behind 4 Hands is not stopping. Recently launching in Chicago, big things are in store for the LaSalle Park brewery both here and elsewhere.
This Friday, January 24th starting at 3PM 4 Hands will be celebrating their 2nd Anniversary at the brewery. The tasting room will open normally at noon, but the allocated offerings and Beyond the Bricks will go on sale starting at 3PM.
Friday’s festivities will see the official release of Beyond the Bricks, their 2nd anniversary beer. Inspired by the yellow brick road, Beyond the Bricks is a Belgian Strong Golden Ale aged in Chardonnay barrels with Apricots. They will release both draft and bottles starting at 3PM. There will be a 6 bottle maximum.
Rotating Draft List:
- Beyond the Bricks – (we hope to have enough to serve on draft all night)
- Bona Fide
- Barrel Aged Bona Fide
- Madagascar – BA Imperial Milk Stout with vanilla beans
- Cuvee Ange
- 1220 – The 1st in our 1220 series, Saison aged in zinfandel barrels with pears
- Eclipse – BA Imperial Milk Stout with Raspberries
- No Place Like Home
- Volume #1
- Peanut Butter Chocolate Milk Stout
We’re told they will also have a nitro cold toddy from Goshen Coffee on draft! Think of it as coffee that pours like a nitro stout.
With this fantastic lineup and the Beyond the Bricks bottle release this is surely to be a great celebration. Head on down and congratulate Kevin, Will, Martin, Salas, and the rest of the crew at 4 Hands.
