After Schlafly’s Cabin Fever and the Centennial Beer Festival have passed, there really aren’t a lot of beer events that happen during the coldest months of winter in St. Louis. But let’s face it, this is the best time of year for drinking.
So, Steve Crider and crew from 2nd Shift Brewing have come to the rescue by holding their
1st 43rd Annual WinterCask Festival at their New Haven location. This cask festival will be featuring casks from eight different breweries from around the St. Louis area. Here’s a list of who will be serving beer:
- 2nd Shift Brewing
- 4 Hands Brewing
- Charleville Brewing
- Civil Life Brewing Co
- Exit 6 Brewing
- Perennial Artisan Ales
- Schlafly Tap Room
- Urban Chestnut Brewing Co
This event will be taking place beginning at 5PM on Saturday, February 18th. The most unique part about this festival is that it will be an overnight extravaganza. Tickets for this event will cost you $150 for one person or $210 for two people. That may seem like a lot of money for a beer festival, but not when you consider you’ll be getting:
- Cask beer
- Hanging out with local brewers
- A room to stay overnight
- And breakfast the next morning
Those of you that stayed overnight at the 2nd Shift and Friends 201st Beer Festival can attest that the overnight experience is well worth the price of admission. If you’re interested in attending, you can purchase tickets for the event at any of the locations listed above. Only 60 tickets will be made available for this event and the last I heard, they’re going quickly.
Don’t miss out on what has to be one of the most unique beer festivals in one of the most unique locations in all of Missouri.
