elijahpsLearning is good. Learning about beer is even better. While drinking beer is definitely fun, I find that I enjoy something on a deeper level when I know more about it.

With that in mind Certified CiceroneĀ® Zachary Pohlman is restarting his famous monthly beer school at Elijah P’s in Alton. Each moth Zach will feature different styles, breweries, or brewing techniques to give you a better peek behind the curtain in the wonderful world of beer.

This month Zach and Elijah P’s will be welcoming 4 Hands Brewing and special guest head brewer (and failed Crave Case eater) Andy Burgio. Andy and Zach will be discussing and tasting:

  • 4 Hands Reprise Centennial Red (American Amber Ale)
  • 4 Hands Ca$h Mony (American Double IPA)
  • 4 Hands Absence of Light (Peanut Butter Milk Stout)
  • 4 Hands Madagascar (Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Milk Stout w/ Vanilla Bean)

This very awesome beer school will be taking place on Thursday, January 28th beginning at 6PM. So, head out to Elijah P’s to drink and learn.
