2009_05_16_1508It’s time to have another STL Hops Pinball Party! This year’s event will be taking place on September 12th from 1PM-5PM and will be hosted once again at CP Pinball in South Roxana, Illinois.

We will have two different ticket prices again this year, so here’s the run down:

The cost of the event is $20 per person which provides you with all the pinball you can play for 4 hours. If you’re looking for transportation to and from the event, we’ve rented a bus that will pick people up at Lafayette Park and return them after the event. This will cost you an extra $15.

Just Pinball: $20
Pinball + Bus Fare: $35

Seems like a pretty great deal for safe travel to and from the event.

We’re going to have a bunch of people bringing different beers to sample and you’re welcome to bring something you’ve been hording as well. I’m trying to line up some pizza, so I’ll have some info on that soon.

Tickets for this event are being sold through Brown Paper Tickets (click that link!). Only 55 tickets are being made available at this time, so I wouldn’t wait around to buy them. Be certain to check out some of the photos from Sauce Magazine from the original pinball event, it was pretty awesome.

Global Brew Tap House in O’Fallon will be holding their second All Day Fest tomorrow, Friday, August 14th from 1PM until close.  They’ll be featuring over 20 (?!) Founders Brewing beers on tap along with special tappings of KBS, Blushing Monk, and CBS.

Unfortunately, CBS is tickets only and tickets are sold out.  Fortunately, they do have a few extra pours that will be available after 10PM. They’ll also be featuring some casks, music, and a appearance from VIP brewer Diamond from Founders.

quincy-streetQuincy Street Bistro is making some of the best home-style cooking in St. Louis. 4 Hands Brewing is hand-crafting some of the best beers in St. Louis. So it only makes sense that they collaborate on putting together an awesome tap takeover.

Tomorrow, August 13th, beginning at 5PM, 4 Hands will be doing a tap takeover at Quincy Street Bistro. Not only will you have the delicious old guard like Single Speed and Divided Sky, but also some of the new kids on the block like Guava Session and Super Flare.

Here’s a look at the whole line-up:

craftontapThe City of Clayton partnered with our friends at Craft Beer Cellar to put on their first beer festival that they’re calling Craft on Tap! Taking place on August 29th from 1PM to 5PM, this festival will feature over 25 breweries along with music from Letter to Memphis.

Tickets are $35 in advance (or $45 day of.) There is also a limited VIP option for $45 which not only gets you in a half-hour early to the event, but also a selection of VIP-only offerings.

There are a limited amount of tickets for this event, so don’t miss out. Tickets are available on Brown Paper Tickets.  Here’s a look at the breweries attending:

This is it! We’re in the final weekend!  Thank you all for helping to make the 7th annual St. Louis Craft Beer Week our best one yet!  But it’s not over, we still have two days of great events.

We have over 150 events taking place this year making this the biggest STLCBW so far. What do we need from you? We need you to go out and make these events successful.  Over the next 9 days, I’m going to detail each days events. Do your part and get out and make these events a success.

Just a couple of things to mention.  Thanks to the folks at Goose Island, we have an Untappd badge again this year, because we all love badges. Also thanks to our friends Urban Chestnut and the St. Louis Brewers’ Guild for being the presenting sponsors of STLCBW. We couldn’t have done this without all of the help from our sponsors.
