Goose-Island-Migration-WeekFly my pretties, fly!  Wait. Those were monkeys and we’re talking about geese.  Specifically, we’re talking about Goose Island Brewing‘s Migration Week which begins this Monday, September 22nd.

What’s Goose Island Migration? Well, it’s a celebration of all things GI.  They put together some awesome events, invite down the brewing staff and bring out some pretty special beers.  Here’s a list of events:

9/22 – Keep the Pint – Joe Buck’s Downtown – 4:30-6:30PM
9/23 – BCS Madness at Three Kings – 6PM
9/24 – Tap Takeover – Handlebar – 6-8PM
9/25 – BCS Event – Llywelyn’s Webster Groves – 3PM
9/25 – Beer and Cupcake Pairing – Jilly’s Cupcake Bar – 6-8PM
9/25 – BCS Event – iTAP Chesterfield – 6PM
9/26 – Sour Beer Blowout – Cicero’s – 7PM
9/26 – Tap Takeover – Everything Wine 6-8PM
9/26 – Tap Takeover – Shamrock’s – 8:30-10:30PM
9/26 – Sour Beer Blowout – Cugino’s – 6PM
9/27 – Wild Goose Chase – U-City Loop – 12-4PM

There are going to be some crazy beers coming out for these events including 2012 BCS Coffee, 2013 BCS Backyard, 2013 BCS Barleywine, Devon, Lolita, and Gillian on draft.  Bottles will include Madame Rose, BCS Cherry Rye, and BCS Vanilla.

The Wild Goose Chase is a pretty cool event featuring a scavenger hunt throughout the U-City Loop which offers some pretty cool prizes including a weekend trip to Chicago. They’re actually running a deal on it currently, make sure to buy your tickets!
