15_perennialTo celebrate the three happy years of being open in St. Louis, Perennial Artisan Ales is pulling out all of the stops by throwing a week full of events! Beginning on Monday, October 13th Perennial has events taking places almost all week concluding with their Anniversary Party on October 18th.

It all starts on Monday the 13th with Thank You St. Louis Day! Perennial starts the show by visiting four different venues and opening a specialty keg (that’s never been released) at each establishment.  Here’s the list:

4:00 iTAP Central West End
5:15 Scottish Arms
7:00 Range
9:00 Flying Saucer

On Tuesday, October 14th, Perennial will be teaming up with Veritas to put on a very special beer dinner. Details will be coming soon, watch Perennial’s events page for more details.

The 2014 Anniversary sees its release on Thursday the 16th at 6PM in the Perennial tasting room. This year’s batch is 100% brettanomyces-fermented Aria aged in red wine barrels. It’s also the second release from the beginning of their solera system (which you may remember from last year’s anniversary party.)

All of these awesome events lead up to the big shebang on Saturday as Perennial hosts their world-famous Anniversary Party from 6-10PM at the tasting room on Saturday, October 18th. This is as much a celebration about Perennial as it is everyone who helped make three years happen, which is why they’re celebrating with collaborations:

  • Perennial/ Hopleaf Hopfentea
  • Perennial/ Evil Twin Loomi Weisse
  • Perennial/Farmhaus Brew for the Crew
  • Perennial/ Solemn Oath Stefon
  • Barrel-Aged Perennial/Sump Coffee Stout
  • Perennial/Aviary The Last Word
  • Perennial/ Annie Gunn’s Trixie
  • New Belgium/ Perennial Salted Belgian Chocolate Stout

They’re also celebrating by pouring some beer from some friends including Solemn Oath Happy Fun Beer, Penrose Wet-Hopped Saison, Half Acre Daisy Cutter, along with some beers from Three Floyds and Prairie Artisan Ales.

It will also be the first appearance of Perennial & Side Project’s first collaboration: 4 Happiness. 4 Happiness is a blended barrel-aged Quad, 60% Red Wine Barrel-fermented Quad , 40% Funky Quad aged Rittenhouse Rye barrels. (Bottles of this and Anniversaria will be releases soon after the party and attendance at the Anniversary Party will guarantee the option to bottle one bottle of each.)

And what’s a party without food. Perennial is blowing it out by inviting some of the best restaurants in town to provide some snacks for the event. Here’s a list of restaurants:

  • Quincy Street Bistro
  • Mission Taco
  • Peacemaker
  • Farmhaus
  • Bolyard’s Meat and Provisions
  • The Block
  • Gyro Company
  • Salume Beddu
  • Perennial Artisan Ales
  • Mai Lee
  • Strange Donuts
  • Ices, Plain and Fancy

Tickets for the Anniversary Party will run you $65 each which includes all food, beer, gratuity and taxes. Tickets go on sale this Friday, September 19th at the Perennial tasting room.  I’ve been told to ensure a smooth event, there are a limited amount of tickets to the party this year.

I’ve also been told that as a special thank you, Perennial will be offering $3 beers on Friday, October 17th and  Saturday the 18th before the party.

Hope you’re all ready for an epic week of partying.
