Good morning! How is everyone enjoying St. Louis Craft Beer Week so far?
As you know, we have over 100 events taking place this year making this the biggest STLCBW so far. We’ve had an awesome start, but the week is still a long way from being over. There are still a lot of awesome events taking place today.
I once again want to say thanks to the folks at Schlafly, which because of them we have an Untappd badge again this year. Also thanks to our friends at Schlafly and Boulevard, there will be some STLCBW glassware floating around, so be on the lookout for that. And finally thanks to the St. Louis Brewers Guild there are some special STLCBW glasses, which will probably be available at St. Louis-centric events.
Also, make sure to use the #STLCBW hashtag for all of your social media-ing during the event.
Also be sure to check out the Chef’s Choice Pairing Menus, these are menus or special dishes put together to celebrate this week. Without further ado, here are Monday’s events.

Loser. Live Action Game Show – The #STLCBW Edition
8:00 pm – The Heavy Anchor
July’s installment is a special one-off craft beer themed show to coincide with St. Louis Craft Beer Week. All four rounds of the show will be written to appeal to the craft beer (and just plain ‘ol beer) enthusiast. A four-part game show, Loser., begins with music trivia and a slightly skewed version of “Don’t Forget the Lyrics.”
The show then moves to its video game portion where contestants are awarded points for both their gaming skills and ability to complement those skills with pizza rolls. Shifting to contestant’s ability to draw superheroes into real-life scenarios in the show’s third round, the game ends with a local sketch group performing a dark and occasionally offensive fan-fiction version of a popular sitcom.
Holding this madness together are co-hosts Essig and Ward, pop-culture aficionados whose humor provides a backbone for what would otherwise be an unwieldy plethora of cultural delights.
$5 to attend (Food and drink available for purchase)
