St. Louis Craft Beer Week may be in the homestretch, but it’s the weekend! If there was ever a time to get out and take in some events, it’s this weekend.

There are still 28 events over the next three days. If that’s not a way to keep your weekend busy, I don’t know what is.

Also be sure to check out the Chef’s Choice Pairing Menus, these are menus or special dishes put together to celebrate this week. Without further ado, here are Friday’s events:

  • Sour Barrel Aged Export Stout Release

    11:30 am – Six Row Brewing

    Enjoy Six Row’s Sour Barrel Aged Export Stout. Their Export Stout aged in used barrels and soured over a year.

  • 4 Hands Keep the Pint

    3:30 pm – Llywelyn’s Pub (St. Charles)

    Come out to Llywelyn’s in St. Charles to grab yourself a tasty glass of 4 Hands Brewing beer and you’ll get a 4 Hands glass to take home.

  • Avery Mini Tap Takeover

    3:30 pm – Llywelyn’s Pub (Wildwood)

    Llywelyn’s Pub in Wildwood will be hosting a Tap Takeover featuring Avery Brewing from Boulder, CO including the Avery anniversary beer #20.

  • Buy the Stein Night
    3PM – 1AM – Urban Chestnut Brewing Company

    Ever wanted to add a Urban Chestnut Brewing Company bierstein to your collection? You can do so with the Buy the Stein Night. All day, Urban Chestnut Brewing Company will be offering the opportunity for you to purchase their stein. Don’t for get to enjoy of few of their great beers while you’re there.

  • Firkin Fest Preview

    4:00 pm – International Tap House (Chesterfield)

    Get a small preview of Soulard’s International Tap House Firkin Festival at the Firkin Fest Preview Friday night at the International Tap House in Chesterfield. They’ll feature a few Firkins and Casks to get you ready for Saturday’s festivities including the O’Fallon Brewery Vanilla Bourbon Pumpkin Firkin.

  • O’Fallon Brewery Pumpkin Release

    4:00 pm – Nick’s Pub

    The O’Fallon Brewery is proud to announce that in celebration of St.Louis Craft Beer Week they have partnered with some of the area’s most respected craft beer establishments to feature one of the area’s most sought after beers…O’Fallon Pumpkin Beer.

    Be one of the first in St.Louis this year to enjoy an O’Fallon Pumpkin Beer as it is released at various locations during Craft Beer Week.  There will be O’Fallon giveaways and Keep The Pint specials at each location while supplies last.  You may even get to meet someone from the O’Fallon Brewery and tell them how much you love the O’Fallon Pumpkin Beer!

  • Patio Can Kick-Off

    4PM – 7PM – Atomic Cowboy

    For St. Louis Craft Beer Week 2013 The Wine and Cheese Place will feature a very special Deschutes tasting with Karen King. The will be sampling the following Deschutes beers: Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA, Deschutes / Great Lakes Smoked Porter, Deschutes River Ale, Deschutes Chainbreaker IPA, Deschutes Black Butte, and Deschutes The Dissident!

    5:00 pm – Perennial Artisan Ales

    The St. Louis Craft Beer Hootenanny presented by 4 Hands Brewing Company and New Belgium, Friday, August 2nd at Off Broadway. The show will feature The Middle Class Fashion CD Release along with Humdrum and Kid Scientists and features beers from 4 Hands Brewing Company and New Belgium. Doors open at 7:30PM Show Start at 9PM.
