The passion for beer in St. Louis has been absolutely insane. It seems like every time you turn around, you’re seeing another dinner or festival. This is truly a great time to love beer in the St. Louis area. It’s good to know that even the chill of late February doesn’t keep people from putting on great beer festivals such as the St. Louis Centennial Beer Festival.
Here’s a look at what’s going on for the 2013 St. Louis Centennial Beer Festival which will be taking place the weekend of February 22nd and February 23rd:
Brewmaster Dinner – 6-9pm (Tickets $67.50 + tax)
Includes beer, food and service.
If you have joined us for the Brewmaster’s dinner in either of the past three years, you know that aside from the great beer and fantastic food, it is really a lot of fun to hear the stories from the Brewmaster firsthand about everything related to beer (and often a whole lot more). The event takes on the personality of the host and this year we are fortunate to be partnered with the Evan Hiatt from Six Row Brewing.
Beer Tasting – 2-5pm (Tickets $31.50)
Beer Tasting – 6-9pm (Tickets $41.50)
With more than 80 beers to taste, live entertainment and food to purchase, this is a great way to spend your football-free weekend. Guests will receive a complimentary tasting glass and be treated to some of the best selection and widest variety of beers from around the world. Advance tickets available now through Friday 1/13/12.
VIP Tasting Room – Both Sessions (Tickets Additional $15)
You have probably noticed that there are more and more ultra-premium beers hitting the market and for the price of a couple of bottles, you can enjoy this VIP tasting session. The number of tickets is limited so that everyone will have an opportunity to taste and discuss the portfolio of high end specialty beers. Please indicate session 1 or 2 when purchasing your ticket.
Tickets for all of the events are available by calling 314-241-4949 or by visiting the Centennial Beer Fest website. Sounds like a great way to spend a weekend in St. Louis.
