June is almost here and we have another great beer festival right around the corner. The 2011 Saints Peter & Paul Craft Beer Fest will be taking place next Friday, June 3rd from 6-9PM, held on the grounds of the Alton – Wood River Sportsman Club. (3109 Godfrey Road, Godfrey, Illinois 62035) Tickets for the festival are still available here.
$20 gets you in the door with 20 tasting tickets. Additional tickets will be available for $1 a piece. There will be over 60 different craft beers to sample along with food from Bigelo’s Bistro and music from Matt Taul & Friends.
I’ve heard nothing but good things about this event and organizer Mark Pruitt has always done a great job of putting together a fun and interesting selection of beers to taste. I’ve also been told that there will be a table of STL Hops members there pouring beer, which will give you an opportunity to talk up some fellow craft beer nerds.
So, head on out and help out the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and School in Alton, IL.
