As a long time beer geek, Id just like to say how happy I am to see and have access to so many of the beers I've loved for so long, right here in St. Louis. Last night, I had Rogue Shakespeare Stout on draft at The Stable. It might have been the best beer I have ever had, and thats saying something.

Just a heads up, Ryan had 4 bottles of la Folie in the cooler at WFT&C. There was also some magnums of Grand Cru blue label in resealables (swing top) (34.99 i think).

Grabbed a ceramic of Rouge XS IIPA, but thought hard about the La Folie and the SN Harvest Wet hop

I found this quote interesting, "I fully recognize that I am not the target market for this beer", as I keep wondering exactly who their target consumer is exactly for Bud American Ale (?).

As far as the baby steps/ Dreadnaught part, I get your point. And, I can certainly understand and appreciate your point. But, myself and everyone I know who got into craft beer got into it in the 1990's via Schlafly & Boulevard Pale Ale(s) and Unfiltered Wheat(s). In fact, at that time Schlafly and Boulevard were still selling filtered Wheat beers. And, now, we can handle Double IPA's and Flemish Wild Ales.

stopped by TWCP on the way home from work today. Picked up some of the Jewbilation. $4.99 for a 12% bomber. That's a pretty good deal IMO.
