We interrupt our standard copy and past information about Cicero’s Italian Restaurant Winter Beer School for this very special announcement. Tonight we will have an exciting beer school session featuring Jim O’Conner from Bell’s Brewery.
What Jim has in store is a rare opportunity to try Bell’s Hopslam in a cask vs on draught. This is a very fun experience that really showcases the differences between these two beer. Not to be left out, but you’ll also be sampling Oarsman and Amber as well. If that wasn’t enough, I’ve been told that a single 1/6bbl of Bell’s Black Note Bourbon Barrel Stout will be on tap tonight as well.
There are two sessions of class this evening, the first class runs from 5:30-6:30PM and the second class from 7PM-8PM. Cicero’s Beer School provides background about beers and beer styles usually directly from people directly in the beer industry. It’s perfect opportunity to learn more about a style you’re unfamiliar with or to just brush up on a style you haven’t enjoyed in a while.
Go out and take advantage of one of the few places where you can drink and learn!
If you can’t make it out to the Beer School, you can check out all of the classes via podcast at Cicerosbeerschool.com.
